ROC – Middle School Youth
What is ROC? ROC stands for “Relying on Christ,” and that’s what we’re all about. It is our vision that youth will learn to become deeply committed followers of Jesus Christ who: love God, care for each other, and serve in the world. ROC is our middle school youth program for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. ROC meets in the Youth Room every Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. following Youth Praise Choir rehearsal. ROC includes “hang out” time, games and activities, and a short lesson designed to help us learn about our Christian faith. Our evening closes with our Christ Candle – a time of prayer that bring us closer to each other and to God. ROC is open to all middle school youth, 6th through 8th grade. Come join us and bring your friends!
We answer why ROC is a place for you
ROC is open to all middle school youth who want to build friendships, have fun, and learn about living a life of faith. ROC is a place where you can be yourself – no matter what! You belong here! Come join us. – Barbara Armstrong, a leader of ROC.
