Summer camp builds friendships and allows the youth and adults in our community to come together for a few days of fun and fellowship. Camp Lucerne, located two hours northwest of Milwaukee, provides an ideal lakeside setting for summer camp.
During the Elementary/Junior High Camp, kids going into 3rd through 8th grades have a wonderful opportunity to grow in their faith and have an AWESOME time! Daytime camp activities are divided by grade level (grades 3-5 and 6-8), but everyone enjoys meals and evening campfire together.
Everyone is welcome, whether or not you are a church member!

What will campers be doing at camp?
Campers will have a traditional camp experience including living in cabins, doing crafts, swimming and boating, playing capture the flag, soccer and other group games, and enjoying songs and s’mores around the campfire. This is combined with activities, devotions, speakers and small group bible activities exploring and celebrating our Christian faith.
Who can participate?
Students entering grades 3-8 in Fall 2017 can attend the Elementary/Junior High Camp (June 11-14, 2017).
Youth entering grades 9-12 can participate in the High School Camp (June 14-17).
What are the living accommodations like?
Campers sleep in traditional cabins with beds and electricity. Campers bring sleeping bags or sheets and blankets. Cabins for the youngest children have bathrooms. Most campers will use separate bathhouses with showers and toilets. Children understand that counselors escort them to the restrooms during the night as needed.

Are campers supervised?
Camp is highly supervised. Cabins are segregated by gender and grade, and each cabin of 4-10 campers has at least one adult counselor and one high school or college counselor. Camp Lucerne has a full-time resident professional staff to provide medical assistance, waterfront safety, and assure the camp is safe at all times.
What is the food like?
Camp Lucerne has a full time kitchen staff and spacious dining room. Meals are typical camp fare such as pancakes, fruit and sausage for breakfast, pizza for lunch, and burgers for dinner. Special dietary needs can be accommodated.
